Mrs. Kathleen Brown, 97, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Lola Brown Holder. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Lee Brown, daughter, Judy Faye Brown and son, Michael Eugene Brown. Kathleen was also preceded in death by her husband, Marcelle Brown, Sr. and brother James Brown.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Marcelle Brown, Jr. and wife Elaine of Lillington; daughter, Pam Brown of Lillington; 5 grandchildren, Scott Brown, Tim Brown, Darrell Brown, Jason Brown and Marty Pleasant; 8 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM Friday, November 10, 2023, at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dan Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
