Mrs. Katherine "Kathy" Darlene Wilson, 63, of Lillington passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Rex Healthcare Center in Raleigh. She was born in Polk County, FL, the daughter of the late James Leon and Effie Alberta Myers Wilson. Kathy loved painting, sewing, gardening and other creative projects. One of Kathy's favorite places to visit was Myrtle Beach. She also loved spending time with her friends and family.

Kathy is survived by 2 daughters, Heather Sheets and husband Jason of Sierra Vista, AZ, Miki Bethea and husband Barry of Angier; 3 grandchildren, Donavan Bethea, Mikaylan Bethea and Guy Sheets; 3 sisters, Linda Wilson, Sharon McMichael and husband Glenn, Susan Wilson; brother, James Wilson and wife Kim; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, April 23, 2017 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home.
