Mrs. Katherine "Kat" Vaught-Gerhard, 38, of Lillington, passed away on April 20, 2020.

Kat was born in California to Susan and the late Larry Vaught. She lived her childhood in various places including Alaska and Panama due to her father being an Airman.  She joined the US Air Force and served for 10 years before retiring.

The family will be having a memorial service at a later date due to current restrictions.

Kat is survived by her husband, Jonathan Gerhard; three children, Alexander, Elizabeth, and Izabella; mother, Susan Vaught; and sister, Cassandra Adams.
