Karen Marlene Grushow of Sanford, NC passed away Wednesday February 9, 2022 at home .
She was born June 18, 1942 in Brooklyn New York to David and Frita Schwartz.
Karen went to Abraham Lincoln High in Brooklyn and worked at Sturdy Health Products in the 60's.  She met Gerald Grushow at a dance and married four years later.  They were married for 60 years.  Karen enjoyed camping at the Virginia State Park, going to concerts, the beach, needlepoint.
She is survived by her husband Jerry,  Her daughters Debbie Frizzelle and Melissa Grushow.  She also had a son Jeffery Grushow who passed from Lymphoma.
A Visitation will be held Monday February 14,2022 at 2 PM at O'Quinn Peebles Funeral Home, 1310 S. Main Street in Lillington, NC.  All welcome.
