Mrs. Karen Connors, 55, of Spring Lake passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She was born in Fayetteville, NC, the daughter of Marcia and Bobby Knight. Karen was preceded in death by her niece, Samantha Marie Knight. She was a graduate of Campbell University. Karen worked as a teacher in the Harnett County School System for 22 years.

In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by her husband, Richard Connors and son, Ricky Connors both of the home; brothers, Bobby Marcus Knight (Trina) of SC and Randall Joseph Knight (Stacy) of Spring Lake; sisters, Donna Turnage (Jeremy) of Linden, Lauren McKay (Jeff) of Linden; nieces and nephews, Krista, Matthew, Zachary, Joshua, Jeffrey, Spencer, and Alessa, Jennifer; great nephews, Juniper and Scout; great nieces, August and Kayla.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 21, 2023, from 5:00-6:45 PM at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

The Connors family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at UNC Hospitals for the excellent care given during her illness.
