Karen Renee Byrd, 61, of Broadway, died Friday, January 20, 2022 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC.

Karen was born April 29, 1961in Lee County, NC to the late Barbara Buchanan Holder and Herman Lattie Byrd.  She was a graduate of Western Harnett High School and worked at Maxway, Big Lots, Dollar General, and Jone's Printing.  Karen enjoyed cross-stitch and sewing.

Karen is survived by her sister, Debbie Cordevant and husband, Jerry; nephew, Eric Cordevant; niece, and Melissa Cordevant-Terwilliger.

A memorial graveside service will be held 11am Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Yow officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Debbie and Jerry Cordevant.
