Miss Judy Frances Tripp, 63, of Coats went home to be with Jesus on May 29, 2011. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late C.H. Tripp and Mallissie Collins Tripp and the adopted daughter of Jerry Franklin Edwards and Candy Howell Edwards. She was like pure sunshine and had the ability to light up even the darkest days. Her favorite thing to do was sing. Judy loved to entertain everyone. The beach was her favorite place to get away. Judy loved to fish and incorporated songs into everything, even fishing. She would sing " You get a line, I get a pole honey..."
Judy had a magnetic effect on everyone she met and each person seemed to be touched somewhere deep inside. She is unforgettable. If you were one of the fortunate ones to share Judy's life...you got to see this world through her eyes the beautiful, fun, loving way she did and now you can call yourself blessed!

Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2011 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Justin Heath officiating. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Survivors include her Parents- Jerry and Candy Edwards of the home; Adopted grandmother- Carolyn Williams of Bunnlevel; Adopted grandparents- Tommy and Ewanda Howell of Holly Springs; Adopted uncles- Dean Howell and wife Mattie of Louisiana,Timothy Howell and wife Charlotte of Willow Springs; Adopted nieces and nephews
