Miss Judith Ann Breeden, 77, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Edward E. Breeden and Leona McDonald Breeden. Judy was an active member of Lillington Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, Clerk of Session and Sunday school teacher. She was a recipient of the Presbyterian Women Life Membership. Judy worked for the SBI in Raleigh and retired after 25 years of service. Judy currently served as a Lillington Town Commissioner. Last year, she was elected to her third term in office. She loved to play sports in her younger days, travel and spoil her nieces and nephews.

Judy is survived by her brother, Edward Breeden, Jr. of Lillington; sister, Margie Carter and husband Gary of Lillington; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Westview Cemetery in Lillington with Rev. Barrett Payne officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. A guest book will be available Wednesday from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home for the public to sign.
