Juanita Gale Davis, 79, of Lillington passed away August 12, 2026.  She was born in Raleigh County, West Virginia on June 21, 1947 to the late John and Lorraine Hutchinson Taylor.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Juanita is survived by her son, Todd Davis (wife, Gwen Brown); daughter, Trisa Davis Vaughan (husband, Bobby Lane Vaughan Jr.); 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister.

Known fondly as the family historian of sorts, she loved talking with family and friends and keeping memories alive. She possessed a deep appreciation for music that she lovingly passed down to her children and grandchildren. She also took great joy in the simple pleasures of life, including watching golf and basketball.

Juanita lived a full life and will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved her.
