Mr. John Glenn Locklear, 51, of Willow Spring passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at home. He was born in Lee County, the son of Charles Glenn Locklear and the late Peggy Holder Locklear. John was an avid NASCAR fan and loved carpentry work.

John is survived by his wife, Carma Topar Locklear of Idaho; son, Chris Mundy of Raleigh; daughter, Tiffany Locklear of Raleigh; 4 grandchildren, Nevaeh, Elizabeth, Maricella and Dominic; father, Charles Locklear of the home; sister, Tammy Locklear of Coats.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2017 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel in Lillington with Rev. Paul Holder officiating. Entombment will follow in Westview Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00-2:00 PM.
