Mr. John "Pops" Derevjanik, 81, of Lillington died Wednesday, October 12, 2011. He was born in Johnstown, PA, the son of the late Vasil and Katherine Strank Derevjanik. Mr. Derevjanik was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived locally by daughter, Roxanne Bunn and husband Jeff of Lillington, grandson, Jeffrey Bunn of Lillington and many friends. He is also survived by family members out of state.
