Joan Sonderson 71 of Lillington died Sunday May 30, 2010 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. A native of Ohio, she was a long time resident of Lillington and a veteran of the United States Army. Joan was preceded in death by her husbands, David Greene and Eugene H. Sonderson.

Graveside service will be conducted 11:30 am Friday, June 4, 2010 at Main Post Cemetery in Ft. Bragg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the local food bank in your community

Mrs. Sonderson is survived by her sons: Michael Greene of Texas, Kenneth Greene and wife Lisa of Oklahoma, Randall Greene and wife Ruth of Oklahoma. Daughter: Karen Galbraith and husband Dave of Texas. 8 Grandchildren: Scott, Amanda, Marcus, Justin, Pamela, Melissa, Sean, Orayanna.
3 great grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters
