Mrs. Jo Nell Johnson Hardee, 66, of Fuquay Varina went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. She was born in Cumberland County, the daughter of the late Joseph Ward Johnson and Nellie Grace Hudson Johnson. Jo Nell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She loved her Lord and Savior and desired for all to know Jesus.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Baptist Grove Baptist Church in Fuquay Varina with Rev. Ben Pearce and Rev. C. Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times at the home of her brother, Jerry Johnson.

Jo Nell is survived by her husband of 44 years, Edward Hardee of the home, daughter, Sarah Jo McLeod and husband Michael of Fuquay Varina; grandson, Ross McLeod and granddaughter, JoElla McLeod; brother, Jerry Johnson and wife, Connie of Fuquay Varina; sister, Hilda Renfrow and husband Jim of Raleigh; many nieces and nephews.
