Mrs. Jessie Blanchard Bolton, 95, of Lillington passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at Emerald Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lillington from a severe respiratory infection and congestive heart failure.

She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Julius LaFayette Blanchard and Stella Jane Hobby Blanchard. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bolton, daughter, Jessie Ruth Faries, brothers, Jack and James Blanchard and sisters, Peggy Ross, Janie Dumphy, Geraldine Brown and Virginia McLean.

Mrs. Bolton enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking. She also enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and working in her yard. Mrs. Bolton loved sharing and being with people. She found beauty in everything and everybody.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday June 6, 2015 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel with Rev. John Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bolton is survived by a daughter, Anne Trudeau of Wilmington, sons, Mack Bolton and wife Frances of Durham, Norman, Troy and Wayne Bolton all 3 of Lillington, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Viola Dean of Fuquay-Varina and Odelia Lanouette of Florida.
