Mr. Jesse Smith, 76 of Lillington died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at Universal Health Care in Lillington. A lifelong resident of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Roy and Rosa Batton Smith. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica Sue Cameron. Mr. Smith was an employee of Champion Mobile Homes for over 30 years.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Michael McCauley officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00--3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home, other times at the home of Tammy Wrench.

Mr. Smith is survived by 3 daughters: Kimberly Darroch and husband Tim of Lillington,Tammy Wrench and husband Keith of Lillington, Wendy Smith of Sanford. 3 sons: Bradley Smith and wife Allison of Mamers, Jeffrey Smith of Lillington, Mark Smith of Garner. Brother, Billy Smith of Lillington. Sister, Margaret Taylor of Sanford. 7 Grandchildren: Megan Smith, Heather Darroch, Ryan, Logan, and Connor Smith, Rebecca and Felicia Cameron. 3 Great grandchildren: Jessica Hopper, Cheyenne Porter, Johnathon Smith
