Mr. Jerry Glenn "Pete" Hamilton, 71, of Lillington died Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late William Harry and Eunice Fore Hamilton. Pete was a general contractor over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Hamilton Johnson West and brother, Franklin Delano Hamilton.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Westview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Bill Goodnight officiating.

Pete is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margie Yow Hamilton of the home, 2 son, Jerry Glenn Hamilton, Jr. and wife Karen, Martin Bruce Hamilton; daughter, Bridget Hamilton Larson and husband David all of Lillington, 6 grandchildren, Jerry "Trey" Hamilton III, Sully Hamilton, Harry Hamilton, Madalyn Hamilton, Hannah Larson and David Larson III, 2 great-grandchildren, Callie Grace Hamilton and Payten Mitchell.
