Jerald Stewart, 67 of Lillington died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Green Leaf Assisted Living Facility in Lillington.

A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Arthur Lucius and Burlena Johnson Stewart.

Jerald was a retired salesman, representing various companies throughout his lifetime.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, April 14, 2013 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Chris Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Mamers. The family will receive friends from 6:00--8:00 pm Saturday at the home of Cary and Susan Stewart.

Jerald is survived by his daughter, Kim Hild and husband Edgar of Florida. 2 brothers, Cary Stewart and wife Susan of Lillington and Larry Stewart and wife Wanda of Mamers. 3 Grandchildren, Melissa, Brittany, and Austin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 525, Mamers, NC 27552.

The family would like to thank everyone for their acts of kindness and support during his 8 month battle with cancer.
