Mrs. Jennie Mae Everette of Lillington, 85, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 06, 2020.

Jennie loved to play piano (which she could by ear) and sing, loved to write poetry and loved all things "frogs".  Cricket, her pet dog, was a beloved animal to her.  She was an outstanding Southern cook. She took great pride in her family. She was a faithful Christian that loved the Lord.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 8 from 6:00-8:00.  A   graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Harnett Memorial Park cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents Uriah and Annie Mae Grantham; her son, David Everette; brother Haley Grantham; sisters Annie Ruth Stevens, Aileen Jackson, Lola Kate Barrel and husband Daniel Junior Everette.

Jennie is survived by her children; Teresa Norris (Nathan) of Lillington, Cathy Bertrand (Sid) of Hope Mills, Mark Everette (Patricia) of Lillington, and Michelle Allain (Chris) of Hope Mills, and daughter-in-law Pattie Everette of Angier.  She had 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
