Sarah Jenice Turner, 86, of Lillington died Thursday, December 24, 2009. Born in Harnett County, June 2, 1923, she now joins her parents, Lonnie and Sarah (Sissy) Williams Turner in Heaven. Preceding her in death also were sisters, Iola T. Talley and Rachel T. Hill. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who was known for her sweet and loving spirit and will be greatly missed. She was a faithful member of Buies Creek First Baptist Church and particularly enjoyed being with her friends in the Special Adult Sunday School Class. The family wishes to thank the staff and management of Brookfield Retirement Center for their loving care and support for many years. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at Buies Creek First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Michael Simmons. Burial will be in the Coats City Cemetery.
