Mrs. Jean Hamilton Ballard, 85, of Lillington, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Westview Cemetery in Lillington with Rev. Jeff Roberts and Rev. Daniel Selman presiding. The family will receive friends following the service.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Linwood and Hettie Wagstaff Hamilton; husband of 64 years, Bonny Ballard. She is survived by her daughters, Cyndi Moss (Ken), and Vicki Currin (Gerald); grandsons, Alan (Jessica) and Alex (Lindsey) Moss; great grandchildren, Emma and William Moss; and brother-in-law, Sam Ballard (Ellen).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Lillington Baptist Church, P.O. Box 670, Lillington NC 27546.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
