Mr. J.D. Douglas, 75, of Broadway, passed away on September 12, 2019.

J.D. was a hard-working and loving father that would go the extra mile to help anyone he considered family or friend.  He will be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 12 noon at Cool Springs United Methodist Church.  The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Douglas and Hattie Douglas.

J.D. is survived by son, Mike Douglas; daughter, Reane Mabry; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cole, and Ella; great-grandson, Eli; seven sisters, Iva Christian, Ila Christian, Bonnie Finn, Barbara Carter, Maxine Barbour, Sadie Senter and Kay Evans; and one brother, Raymond Douglas.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 11 am to 12 noon at the church.
