Jason "Jay" Thomas Spitzer, 38 of Lillington died Wednesday, June 22, 2016.

Jay was born April 5, 1978 in Fairfax Co. Virginia to Cindy and Charles Spitzer. He was preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents, Donald and Helen Bailey and maternal grandfather, Bernard Belles.

Jay was a Mason, Shriner and a member of the Looney Tunes Car Club. He was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved his family and friends but most of all loved being a daddy. He had a heart for helping others.

Jay was survived by his wife, Lisa Ray Spitzer and daughter, Jaylyn Ray Spitzer both of the home ; mother, Cindy Spitzer and husband Norman Grace of Winter Haven, FL; father, Charles Spitzer and wife Alice of St. Petersburg, FL; his maternal grandmother, Louise Foltz of Plant City, FL; a brother, Justin Spitzer of St. Petersburg, FL; 3 sisters, Jennifer Spitzer Littell and husband Francis; Charlotte Mosher and husband Daryl and Cassie Spitzer all of St Petersburg, FL; 2 nephews, Berringer and Oakley Spitzer

A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church with Dr. Jerome Smith and Pastor Terry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the family at 2273 Adcock Road, Lillington NC 27546.
