Mrs. Janice Hunt Cummings "T-Shirt", 62, of Holly Springs passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Wake Medical Center in Cary. She was born in Robeson County, the daughter of the late Cora Lee and Roscoe Hunt. Janice was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister.

Janice is survived by her husband, Henry F. Cummings of the home; daughter, Tammy Surles (Jamie) of the home, 2 sons Junior Ray Hunt of Florida and Paul Martinez of Indiana, daughter Monica Ann Hunt (Marcus) of Fuquay-Varina; 10 grandchildren; great-granddaughter; sister, Mary Soltwedel (Kevin) of Benson.

The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Fairmont. A public viewing will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM Thursday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
