Mrs. Jane K. Davis, 85, of Lillington died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Brookfield Retirement Center in Lillington. She was born in Washington Co., NC, the daughter of the late Wayne A. and Eva J. Liverman Koonce. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon H. Davis. She was an active member of Lillington Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis was a loving, devoted mother to her entire family.
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Lillington Baptist Church with Rev. J. Kenneth Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Harnett Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, July 22, 2011 at O'Quinnp-Peebles Funeral Home, other times at her home.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters:Phyllis D. Sexton of Fuquay Varina; Frances D. Brown and husband Mike of Raleigh. Son: Vernon H. Davis, Jr. and wife Sandra of New Bern. 7 grandchildren- Bruce Sexton, Brian Sexton, Josh Jones, Christy Matthews, Leah Brinkley, Allison Davis, Wesley Davis. 11 great-grandchildren. 2 Sisters, Eleanor K. Harrison of Greenville, NC and Mary Taylor K. Nixon of Hope Mills, NC. Several nieces and nephews
