Jamie L. Darroch, 37 of Lillington died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. A native of Harnett County, he was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Darroch; his maternal grandfather, Oker Lee Thomas; and paternal grandparents, Ezra and Dorothy Bishop Darroch. Jamie worked as an electrician with Young's Electric Company in Angier.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, February 12, 2012 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Dr. William Goodnight and Rev. Shirley Bain officiating. Burial will be in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home, other times at the home of Dale T. Darroch.
