James "Sid" Siddall Miller 61, of Lillington died Monday, December 9, 2013 at Rex Hospital.

A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Telford A. and Sarah Bethea Miller.

Sid was a long-time employee of Phelps Welding and local business owner in Lillington. He was well known in the community and will be sorely missed.

Service will be conducted 2:00 Thursday December 12, 2013 at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Graham officiating. Burial will be in Westview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 December 11, 2013 at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home and other times at the home.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 34 years Darleen Miller of the home; a son, James S. Miller of Lillington; a brother, Telford A. Miller, Jr. of Lillington.
