Mr. James Michael "Mike" Heath, 72, of Fuquay-Varina passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. He was born in Marshall Co., AL, the son of the late James Ewell Heath and Dell Childs Heath. Mike was a graduate of Dothan High School in Dothan, AL where he was a letterman in football. He also attended Marion Military Institute in Marion, AL. Mike was an avid fisherman and loved Auburn football. Mike loved spending time with family and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife, Nan Mangum Heath of the home; 2 sons, Brian Heath and wife Laura of Lillington, Barek Heath of Fuquay-Varina; 3 granddaughters, Breanna Heath, Courtney Heath, and Sarah Beth Heath; his fur baby, Lucy.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Rawls Baptist Church Cemetery in Fuquay-Varina with Terry Mitchell officiating.
