Mr. James E. "Mac" "Jeff" McDougald, 73 of Spring Lake died Monday, July 29, 2013 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late James and Corena Walker McDougald and was preceded in death by his brother, Lenard McDougald. Mr. McDougald was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired as an administrator with the Federal Aviation Administration after 44 years of service.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, August 2, 2013 at Northwood Temple in Fayetteville with Rev. John Hedgepeth officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mr. McDougald is survived by his wife, Patricia Q. McDougald. 7 children, 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Sisters, Erata McDougald and Juanita Wilkerson, both of Raleigh; Carolyn McPhatter of Fayetteville. Brother, Ronald McDougald of Bunnlevel.
