James L. Corbett, 85 of Lillington, formally of Shepherd, MI, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at Central Carolina Hospital.

James was born March 16, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant, MI. James was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.

James is survived by a daughter, Betty Corbitt of Mt. Pleasant, MI; two sons, David Corbett and girlfriend Tina Corbett of Shepherd, MI and Rock Corbett and wife Marie of Lillington; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandson and one niece Kathy Corbitt Chaffee of Lillington.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home.
