James "Harry" Baber, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014.

Harry was born May 1, 1959 to the late Clyde Hamilton and Polly Baber.

Harry was a family man, fisherman and hunter. He loved to spend time taking care of his family. The light of his life was his grandson James. His wife was the love of his life and his sons were the apples of his eyes. He enjoyed playing music with his sons.

Harry is survived by his wife of 30 years, Laura Baber of the home, 2 sons, Adam Baber and his wife Jaime of Lillington and Brian Baber of Lillington; 2 sisters, Barbara Harkey and husband Gardie of Spring Lake and Debra Flaningan of Reynoldsburg, OH; a brother, Clyde Baber and wife Ellen of Linden; 1 grandson, James Patrick Baber; his mother-in-law, Lois Woodle of Latta, SC; a brother-in-law, Dale Woodle and wife Terrie of Sneads Ferry, NC and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Westview Cemetery with Pastor Clyde Baber officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 P.M. Wednesday at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
