Mrs. Ida G. Mills, age 95, of Sanford died Monday, February 1, 2010 at the E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Preston and Sally Salmon Gregory. Mrs. Mills worked for 29 and a half years at Cornell Dubilier in Sanford. She was a longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church and also a member of Central Baptist Temple. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Mills and daughter, Hazel Currin Jackson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 4, at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers, with Rev. Martin Groover and Rev. Mike Oldham officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery. Family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall after the service.

She is survived by daughters, Kathryn Ragan and husband Ray of Sanford, and Libby Oldham and husband Bill of Broadway; 8 Grandchildren, Ronnie Currin, Jimmy Currin, Sandra Norris, Charles Ragan, Angela Jones, Curtis Ragan, Stepahnie Dalyrumple, and Jason Phillips; 17 Great-grandchildren, and 10 Great-great grandchildren.
