Mr. Hugh Stanley Wheeler, 87, of Lillington, formerly of Statesville, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his home. He was born in Oxford, NC, the son of the late Hugh and Vera Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Wheeler; sisters, Eloise Daniel and Bonnie Lynn Adams and brother, Robert Donald Wheeler.

No formal service will be held and the family may be contacted at the home of Jimmy Peebles.

Mr. Wheeler is survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home, PO Box 266, Lillington, NC 27546 to assist with funeral expenses.
