Mrs. Hilda M. Bethune, 84 of Bunnlevel died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at WakeMed in Raleigh. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lottie Honeycutt McKee and was preceded in death by her sister, Aileen M. Brown. Hilda was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church for over 60 years. She also owned and operated the B & W Grill in Bunnlevel for many years.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Fowler and Rev. Dan Deaton officiating. Burial will be in the Bunnlevel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday at the fuenral home, other times at her home. Mrs. Bethune is survived by her husband, W.M. "Bud" Bethune; Daughters, Donna Murray and husband Larry of Bunnlevel; Sharon Dawson and husband Donald of Fayetteville; 5 grandchildren, Joseph and Toby Beamon, Vivian Radford, Lydia Hyer, and Meghan Engle; 7 great grandchildren
