Mr. Herbert Lee "Leboy" Wade, 85, of Lillington died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Universal Healthcare in Lillington. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late William Herbert and Mary Bell O'Quinn Wade. Mr. Wade worked at the Sanford Golf Course and retired after 22 years of service. He was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church. Mr. Wade was preceded in death by sister, Evelyn, brother, Bill, sister, Inez, brothers Lex and Clarence, sisters, Vernell and Lavern.

Funeral service will be conducted 4:00 pm Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church, Lillington with Rev. Terry Williams officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memory Gardens, Sanford. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Wade is survived by his brother, Eirk Wade and wife Lucy Thomas Wade of Sanford; Sister, Margaret Faull and husband Walter "Spike" of Lillington; Sister, Clara Gray Zachary of the home. Nieces and Nephews
