Mrs. Helen Lois Mann Eymer,73, of Lillington passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at Universal Health Care in Lillington. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Alfred and Francina Jones Mann. Helen enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cross-stitching. She was an animal lover who enjoyed her cats and birds. Helen worked at Gould and Goodrich as a seamstress for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Smith.

Helen is survived by her husband of 34 years, Richard Eymer of the home; 2 sons, Kenneth Dowdy (Luzetta) of Lillington, Jeffrey Dowdy of South Carolina; 3 daughters, Connie Simmons of Colonial Heights, VA, Bobbie Cook (Jeff) of Gloucester, VA, Randal Eymer of Lillington; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Alfred Mann, Jr. of Fayetteville and Garland Mann of Lillington.

A graveside service will be held at Noon Friday, August 4, 2017 at Westview Cemetery in Lillington with Rev. Tom Welborn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 AM-11:45 AM.
