Ms. Heather Lynn Watt, 49, of Lillington passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at her home. She was born in East Hartford, Connecticut on March 6, 1974.

Heather is survived by her parents, Kerry Watt and Mary Sue of North Carolina, Rita Thornbrough and husband, Matt of Florida. She is also survived by her brother, Greg Watt and wife, Jennifer of North Carolina; four children, Paige, Jeff, and Allison (Bobby Lambert) Gurganus all of Florida, Jason Gurganus of North Carolina; maternal grandfather, Sebastian Greco of Florida; five amazing grandchildren, Damien, Hailey, Lilly, Brayden, and A.J. all of Florida that she adored; niece, Hannah Watt of Texas; numerous aunts and uncles.

Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Connie Greco of Florida, paternal grandparents, Samuel and Marjorie Watt and uncle, Wesley Watt all of East Hartford, Connecticut. Heather attended Wake Forest High School and worked for a pest control company for years as an office manager.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2023, at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel in Lillington. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
