Hazel Shaw, 92, of Lillington, passed away, Sunday, September 10, 2023 at her home in Lillington, NC.

Hazel was born February 12, 1931 in Johnston County, NC to the late Leola Weeks Tart-Andrews and Luther Allen Tart.  She served as a spouse to an Air Force Fighter Pilot and was a teacher with the Lillington Presbyterian Church Kindergarten.  Hazel was a member of Lillington Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Wade Allen Tart.

Hazel is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ralph Shaw; daughter, Cherie Shaw; son, Mark Shaw and his wife, Jennifer; sister, Edna Mangum; grandchildren, James, Olivia, John Mark, Christian, and Virginia Shaw.

A graveside service will be held 3pm Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Summerville Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Barrett Payne officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
