Mr. Harold "Jerry" Lloyd, 69, of Lillington passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. He was born in Wilmington, NC, the son of the late William Rufus and Virginia Powell Lloyd. Jerry retired from The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Fayetteville in 2002 after 32 years of service. He enjoyed many activities including playing golf, fishing, hunting, bowling and watching NASCAR. Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Lloyd.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 21 years, Barbara Womack Lloyd of the home; daughter, Lisa Lloyd Williams and husband, David of Eastover, son, Jerry Allen Lloyd and wife, Lisa of Eastover; step-daughter, Monica Ray Stephenson of Lillington; 4 grandsons, Chase and Tripp Lloyd, Brock and Rylan Williams; 3 step-grandchildren, Anna Stephenson, John Stephenson II and Gracie Stephenson; sister, Shirley Garlem and husband, Everette of Virginia, brother, Phillip Lloyd and wife, Judy of Hope Mills; 4 nieces, Vivian Kersey, Susan Fisher, Jennifer Lloyd and Shelley Barnette; 3 nephews, Ivan Fisher, David and Timothy Lloyd.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2016, at Union United Methodist Church, 2212 Nursery Road, Lillington, NC 27546 with Rev. Bill Altman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home.
