Mrs. Glyness Meeks, 95, of Lillington, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at her home with her children by her side.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 3 pm in Lillington Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Selman presiding.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Meeks.

She is survived by her five children, Anne Reagan (Edwin), Susan Loyd, Jarrell Meeks (Martha), Keith Meeks, and Laura Elmore (Gregory); eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or to one's favorite charity.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
