Mrs. Glenda Porter Wheeler, age 73, of Lillington died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Brookfield Assisted Living in Lillington. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Carl F. and Margaret Holder Porter. Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wheeler.

Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her son, Timmy Wheeler and wife Celena of Lillington; sister, Faye Morrison of Lillington; nephew, Michael Morrison of Lillington.

Funeral Service will be conducted 4:00 PM Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillington by Rev. Terry Williams. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home.
