Gladys Ballard McLean Parker, 91 of Lillington passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her residence.

Gladys was born March 3, 1924 in Harnett County to the late Malcolm Archibald Daniel and Fannie Ballard McLean. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Neil William Parker; 2 sons, Daniel Russell Parker and William Cornell "Connie" Parker; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Gladys loved her family and friends. She was a member of Mt. Ariel Methodist Church and attended Fellowship Baptist Church for many years.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2015 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Summerville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 Friday at the funeral home.

Gladys is survived by 4 children, Margie Warnica and husband Gary, Sr. of Camp Verde, AZ, Roger Parker and wife Brenda of Spring Lake, Judy Parker of Lillington and Becky Parker Howington of Lillington; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grand children and 7 great great grandchildren.
