Mr. Gary Louis Brown, 68, of Lillington passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Lewis Judd and Ruth Magdalene Watkins Brown. Gary was also preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Michael Brown. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a retired teacher with the Harnett County School System.

Gary is survived by his fiancé, Barbara Jo Rambeaut; daughters, Hilary Brown Porter, Rebecca Reardon and Kali Christian Brown; grandchildren, Chase and Anabelle Bittenbender, Emily, Luke and Elizabeth Porter, Lylia Kenney, Aiden Hefele and Phoenix Brown, Tori Simpkins.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
