Mrs. Gail C. Brown, 62, of Lillington passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at her home. She was born in Lee County, the daughter of the late Elijah Currin and Virginia Griffin Currin. Gail was a dedicated member of Broadway United Methodist Church. She was loving wife, mother, and aunt who loved the Lord and children. During her most recent illness, Gail never complained and always met you with a smile on her face.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Cool Springs United Methodist Church in Broadway with Pastor Mike McVey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 AM and other times at the home.

Gail is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Brown of the home, son, Brandon Brown of Lillington and fiancé Lisa Snuggs of Pleasant Garden, daughter, Scarlette Klein and husband Mike of Fuquay-Varina, mother, Virginia Griffin Currin of Lillington, sisters, Ginger Couch and husband Bobby of Hillsborough, Laurie Norris and husband Randy of Lillington, brother, Douglas Currin and wife Connie of Wilmington, numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Cool Springs United Methodist Church in Broadway with Pastor Mike McVey officiating.
