Ms. Frances Sue Patterson McKinney, 85, of Broadway passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Hubert and Margie Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Truman, and Mark Patterson; sisters, Beatrice Pleasant, and Betty Fann. Frances was a lifelong member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Broadway. She loved working outside in the yard, especially on her John Deere mower. Frances also enjoyed quilting and spending time with her fur babies, Chi Chi and Rozzie.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Lorie McKinney of Broadway, Lisa Sue McKinney of Sanford; son, Noel McKinney of Broadway; 2 grandsons, Jerod McKinney, Jeron McKinney; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends and neighbors.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 PM Thursday, March 21, 2024, in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Multipurpose Building and other times at the home of Lorie McKinney. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM in the church cemetery with Rev. Scott Yow officiating.
