Frances Wilson Giles, 85 of Angier passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at her home.

Frances was born September 8, 1931 in Orange Co. to the late Ethel and Arthur Wilson. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Sherrill Warren Giles; two brothers, Danny and Curtis Wilson; a sister, Ruth Young.

Frances was a member of Neill's Creek Baptist Church. She was a deaconess and WMU director for many years. She loved reading her bible and doing home bible study. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

Frances is survived by a daughter, Carol Manning and husband Harold of Lillington; a son, Jimmy Giles and wife Vickie of Fuquay-Varina; three sisters, Diana Harmon, Thelma Bullock and Peggy Jones; three grandchildren, Robbie Phelps, Tony Giles and wife Michelle and Tonya Whitley and husband Benny; 5 great grandchildren, Hunter Pleasant, Kaylee Whitley, Taylor Giles, Mandy Lynn Giles and Josh Giles and Stephanie Tripp who loved Frances as her own grandmother.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Harnett Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Turner officiating.
