Mrs. Frances P. Douglas, 70 of Sanford died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at her home. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas "T.H." and Beulah Christian Patterson. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Edison and Mitchell Patterson. Frances was a member of Cool Springs United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, June 3, 2011 at Cool Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Ramon Atkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home, other times at her home.

Mrs. Douglas is survived by her husband, Floyd Douglas; 2 daughters, Gwen Marion and Kim Donathan both of Sanford; 1 Son, Joey Douglas of Sanford; Sister, Geraline Griffin of Broadway; Brother, Halford Patterson of Sanford. 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson
