Mrs. Frances "Jean" L. Collins, age 66, of Broadway died Friday, November 5, 2010 at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sanford. She was born in Lee County, the daughter of the late Bernice and Nonnie Gwyn Lemons. Mrs. Collins was a homemaker, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Collins and her brother, Billy Lemons.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 8, 2010 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel, Lillington with Rev. David Oyster officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Broadway.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

She is survived by son, Thomas Collins and wife Patricia of Bunnlevel, daughter, Teresa Collins of Broadway, son, Dennis Collins and wife Dana of Broadway, son, Brian Collins of Broadway, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister, Joan Musselwhite of Sanford, brother, Wayne Lemons of Lemon Springs.
