Florine Franklin Lloyd, 84 of Coats died Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Nanny Lou Slaughter Franklin. Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her husbands, Roger Kennedy and Thomas Lloyd; Sisters, Lucy Wilburn, Elizabeth Collins and Louise Wilder; Brothers, Bobby and Willie Franklin.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Stancil Baucom officiating. Burial will be in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home, other times at her home.

Mrs. Lloyd is survived by daughters; Deb Syme and husband James of Florida, Pamela Wilkins and husband Terry of Coats; Son, Bubba Kennedy and wife Sandra of Coats; Sisters, Sue Evelyn Peele of Asheville and Alice Faye Campbell of Charlotte
