Mrs. Faye Dean Morrison, 78, of Lillington passed away Monday August 19, 2019 at her home. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Carl Porter and Margaret Holder Porter. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband Billy Morrison and sister Glenda Wheeler. Faye worked and retired from Red Cap after many years of service. She was a member of Ephesus Presbyterian Church in Lillington. Faye enjoyed spending time and taking care of people, especially Caden James McCoy. She loved doing word search puzzles and watching basketball games.

Faye is survived by her son Michael Morrison of the home; aunt, Esther Holder Johnson Howard of Buies Creek; nephew, Timmy Wheeler and wife Celena of Lillington; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Holland and husband Joe of Lillington, Mary Sue Withers and husband Foster of Lillington; brother-in-law, Gerald Morrison and wife Linda of Angier.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday August 24, 2019 at Ephesus Presbyterian Church in Lillington with Rev. Bruce Benton, Rev. Rick Beacham and Rev. Martin Groover officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.
