Mrs. Faye Christian Brown, 83, of Lillington passed away, Sunday, February 25, 2024, at her home in Lillington.

Faye was born February 7, 1941, in Harnett County, NC to the late James C. Christian and Lucille B. Christian. She was a teacher for Harnett County Schools for many years. She was a member of the Four Seasons Garden Club and Tea and Topics Book Club. Faye was also a member of Lillington Presbyterian Church and served as a board member for the Friends of the Harnett County Library.

Faye was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Collins, granddaughter, Brittany Taylor, parents Jim and Lucille B. Christian, and sister, Brenda Byrd.

Faye is survived by her husband of 47 years, Tom Brown, daughters, Sonya Taylor, Brenda McLeod (Kelly), Jamie Frazee (Royce); grandchildren, Catherine Garrett, Ashley Hicks, Morgan Holloway, Megan Keith, Colin Frazee, Christian Frazee, and Ava Frazee; great grandchildren, Chloe Jordan, J.B. Hicks, Grace Hicks, Adelynn Keith, Rhett Holloway and Ander Taylor; sister, Nancy Christian; brother, James Christian (Peggy); many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Summerville Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lillington with Rev. Barrett Payne officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
